The North Bay and District Hospital's fourth annual Walk/Run event presented by platinum sponsor Plenary Health in association with PCL and Johnson Controls, had 500 participants and 60 volunteers work together to raise $89,000 in cash and gifts-in-kind for the hospital's greatest needs.

Just in time for Thanksgiving, the North Bay and District Hospital is giving the community a way to say thanks. Today the Hospital launched a unique program to coincide with the fourth annual Walk/Run happening Sunday October 18th at Lee Park.

This holiday season area students created handmade stars to give to North Bay and District Hospital (NBDH) Foundation donors, to thank them for supporting the appeal for a cardiac monitor for the Emergency Department.

The North Bay General Hospital Volunteer Association was giving like Santa today at their December General Meeting, surprising the Hospital Foundation with an additional $25,000 cheque towards Cardiac and Stroke care.

This Friday medical staff will perform the first procedure in the outpatient gynecology clinic at the North Bay and District Hospital. This new and exciting program is possible because of the more than $100,000 in donations from the community that assisted the hospital in purchasing the critical medical equipment needed to run the clinic.
