Papa Joe Ride
The 17th Annual Papa Joe Ride was held on May 28, 2011. Approximately 150 participated in the ride to Mattawa. Riders returned to enjoy a show and shine, dinner, auction and live entertainment.

Board and Staff Run for Diagnostic Imaging

January 14th, Amhed's 12 hour Relay was held at the Fun in Fitness Studio on King St. Hospital affiliates, Nancy Birtch - Foundation Board, and Stephanie Fayle - Clinical Records, were among the early birds who began the relay at 6:00 a.m. helping to raise $1,773 towards the Diagnostic Imaging Fund.
Delorme's RV's Trailer Draw

The Girard Family, winners of Delorme's RV's Trailer Draw, proudly stands beside their new Rockwood 1640 LTD Trailer. The draw raised $9,495 in support of the Diagnostic Imaging Fund. Thank you Delorme's RV for donating the trailer.

Spinning for Diagnostic Imaging
November 26th Peak Fitness & Indoor Cycling Studio hosted their 1St Annual Spin for Charity. The 12 hour marathon was advertised as the first event of its kind for North Bay raising over $11,000 toward urgently needed diagnostic imaging equipment. Over 160 participants in teams of 12, ensured one member was turning the pedals on a spin bike throughout the event.

Quilt Show
This year's Quilts by the Bay was an enormous success with more than 600 people attending the two day event. Two thousand dollars was raised by the Silent Auction, the money will benefit the Digital Mammography Fund.

It was the best looking quilt of the bunch! That was what the "viewers" said. Hallie Hart, a nurse in the Acute Care Unit, NBRHC-DH, won the Viewers Choice Award at the 2010 Quilts by the Bay Quilt Show for best machine quilted quilt. Hallie was presented with a rosette from Quilt Canada for her beautiful work.

Local quilters; Kindred Quilters, Lakeside Quilters and Kelly Schroder made these beautiful quilts for raffle. $4,864.00 was raised and will benefit the Digital Mammography Fund. The raffle winners are Héléne Crépeau, queen size appliqué quilt; David Becker, queen size patchwork and Brenda Garrett, lap size quilt. The draw took place on September 12, 2010.
The 2010 Blarney Fest

Susan Ray front left general manager of the Clarion Resort Pinewood Park; Jason Corbett, development and communication manager of One Kids Place, Lois Krause executive director of the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation; and Lachlan McLachlan, chairman of the Clarion Blarney Fest, accept cheque, proceeds of the Blarney Fest fundraiser March 17, which raised $14, 896.40 for the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation and One Kids Place.
The 2011 Blarney Fest will not be happening this year.
