Dedication and naming opportunities are available for donors who make gifts or pledges of $25,000 or more. A donor can choose to dedicate a room in the new hospital. For example, the area could be dedicated in memory of a loved-one, or sponsored by a business or service club.
Donations of cash or pledges $250,000 and greater are recognized with a naming opportunity. The chosen area will carry the name of the donor. For example, in recognition of Tembec’s $4 million pledge, the hospital’s new emergency department will be named the Tembec Emergency.
A sign showing the dedication thanks donors and inspires others. Through the dedication of an area/room donors become, in perpetuity (life of the physical area or 50 years), important members of the North Bay and District Hospital community.
