Speech-Language services are offered to adults. Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy services are available to adults and children with orthopedic problems (such as broken bones) and to adults with neurological problems (strokes, Parkinson's disease, head injuries).
Clinical Service/Program Overview
The hospital provides a comprehensive range of rehabilitation services (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech-Language Pathology) to both inpatients and outpatients at the North Bay Regional Health Centre. Rehabilitation services are available to people who have had fractured bones, surgery (joint replacements, amputations, tendon repairs), strokes, lung disease, chronic pain or have communication disorders.

A referral from a physician is required to access publicly funded programs, but not following a work injury or when using your Extended Health Benefits or Auto Insurance
