Overview
The care of Pediatric patients up to the age of 17 years are provided by a team consisting of skilled nursing staff, five pediatricians, family physicians, a recreational therapist, a social worker, a dietician and spiritual care workers.
The health care needs of children and youth from the city of North Bay and district are met by both in-patient and out-patient services. This Unit serves also as a district Pediatric referral centre for surrounding communities as far north as New Liskeard and south to Huntsville.
