How to Volunteer

The Volunteer Association is run by an elected Executive from active volunteers. All active volunteers are automatically granted membership in the Volunteer Association and can run for office. The Association coordinates the volunteer fund-raising programs and donates the funds raised directly to the Hospital for capital equipment purchases.
Initiatives which support fund-raising include Tuck Shops - gifts and all non-patient food services, HELPP Lotteries, flower arrangements, catering and raffles. The Volunteer Association, as a whole, meets 3-4 times a year. The Executive meets monthly.
To date, the Association has donated $775,000 of their $1 million dollar pledge to the capital campaign.
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the North Bay and District Hospital. The opportunities for volunteering here are many and meaningful. We look forward to exploring with you, a satisfying and rewarding volunteer experience.
